Philosophy MA (1st class) from the University of Edinburgh. Currently Product Manager at Purple Transform — defining strategy and shipping MVPs for the SiYtE platform, an AI layer for IoT and camera data. Seven years of overlapping work since school, reachable on most known channels.
Working with the Chief Development Officer to define product strategy and roadmap for the SiYtE platform. Developing MVPs for next-generation features — conversational AI interfaces and agentic capabilities. Turning complex IoT and camera data into simple, actionable insights.
R&D under the Chief Scientist, creating insights for SiYtE's AI-powered infrastructure monitoring platform. Role evolved to include MVP development, bridging scientific research and market-ready features. Held a parallel brief on company ethics and data privacy — driving robust standards and compliance.
Joined Purple Transform's Guild — a rotational programme for early-career talent. Business case development, data analysis and insight generation for SiYtE. Found a footing under the Chief Scientist on R&D.
Custom web work for the events industry — AnimeCon, DesignerCon, and the developer of record for all events hosted by The Fanatics Group. Sites that captured each event's energy and gave organisers and attendees the boring functionality they needed underneath.
Ran escape rooms — backstory, clues, the immersion. Led diverse groups daily; improvised when technical kit gave up mid-room. Pulled bar shifts in between and repaired broken room mechanics on the unbooked slots.
Four years; two concurrent jobs and a club committee carried through it. Dissertation in epistemology and the social construction of knowledge.
Five years of high-end hospitality — diverse, high-paying clientele, castle dinners, film premieres, festivals. Active listening, anticipating needs, holding it together under pressure. The longest unbroken role on this page.
GCSE and A-level maths tuition through sixth form and the gap year. Built an instinct for finding where understanding breaks down — useful for almost everything since.
Seven years. Theology, art and maths at A-level. Head of House and the debating circuit on the side.
